Printed on shiramine paper from the Awagami mill in Japan, who have over 300 years of washi papermaking experience. Traditional Japanese fibers such as kozo and gamp, along with the wood grain from the block the print was carved on, give subtle refinements to the final print. Beautiful deckle edge that makes this print suitable for float mounting. This acid-free paper ensures it will last a lifetime.

A single layer woodblock print, printed off a single hand carved piece of baltic birch plywood. Printed by hand, burnished using a Japanese baren. Printed with an oil-based ink that allows for more detail and a better finish on the final print.

The handmade nature of this printing technique means that every copy will be ever so slightly different from one another, each having their own uniqueness.
